Yay! First Entry!

Yesterday

Okay, so yesterday 4/18/07, I started to feel kinda sick, slight fever, headache and this lump developed on the left side of thoat, but I acknowledged it as a swelled lymph node, but I was wrong.. I think?
< I should check into this >

After school I skipped work cause it was early, early release
[We get out of school 2 hours earlier than we normally do... which results in getting out of school at 12:45] and then me and my friends & her boyfriend Richie, , Duffy, Eevee [Who I think has a devart account.. but I'm out of it right now], and my boyfriend Andrew all went to this great Japanese restaurant called Asahi's [Think that's how it's spelled..?]

I gots sushi and fried cheesecake! Rawr! Delicious!

After that, well I dropped off my boyfriend at his friend's house and then went to Duffy's, where the watching of Hotel Rowanda conmenced, all while my fever was getting higher and the lump on my throat got more pronounced and when I asked my mom what it might be, she dismissed it as just allergies... but it's not.. it's ficken Strep Throat!
Grawr!

Today

Ok.. today I went to school after my mother dismissed it as just allergies and while at school I was fine, until the end of the day when I was driving Duffy home, where my head started to warm and I could barely swallow my own spit [Yes nasty, but it is teh true]

Then I canceled work, called my mom, got a doctors appointment, picked up Duffy [Because my mom was at work, and I wanted someone to go with me],
got lost on the way to the doctors [I was driving sick ok.. don't yell at meh!], managed to find the doctors and then had to sit, shivering my fricken' ass off in the waiting and other waiting room.

I saw a guy with a fishing lure hook in his finger though while I was there, which made me laugh at his misfortune, [Yesh, I know I'm horrible] and feel a little better about my own condition

Then, after almost falling asleep waiting for this strange doctor I do not know because mine is on vacation, and managing to stop my shivers, I was diagnosed with, well you know, Strep Throat..... GRAWR!

And now I am waitng for my presciption to get filled in the New Wal-Mart down the street [Where I saw and demanded she take notes in our AP US History class... which she complained at and laughed at my Strep Throat]

Oh and look I was right about the Lymph Node thing!

Strep Throat

Infection of the throat caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pyogenes. Symptoms usually include fever, redness of the throat, lymph node enlargement, and inflammation of the tonsils.
